LaunchGrade is a free, open-source tool from FastPress Labs. The short version: the CLI runs on your machine and sends nothing to us. This website has no analytics, no advertising pixels and no cookies. If you send the audit form, we receive what you typed so a human can reply.

1. Who runs this

FastPress Labs is a small open-source community. For anything privacy-related, email meetcode99@gmail.com. The source code is at github.com/fastpresspages/launchgrade.

2. What the CLI collects

Nothing. The CLI fetches the public page you ask it to scan, plus a small allowlist of public files such as robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt and security.txt. Those requests go directly from your machine to the site you named. LaunchGrade has no telemetry, no account system and no phone-home call. Reports are written only where you ask them to be written.

3. What the audit form collects

If you submit the form, we receive:

• your email address;
• the page URL you optionally provide;
• the type of request you select;
• your message;
• the page name and a timestamp added by the form.

We use this only to read your request and reply. We do not add you to a marketing list, sell your data, or use it to train a model. If you ask for a free audit, a human reads the public page you named and replies by email.

4. FormSubmit

The form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party form-to-email service. When you submit, FormSubmit processes your message and forwards it to the FastPress Labs inbox. FormSubmit's own privacy policy applies to that processing. We do not control its infrastructure.

5. Hosting and logs

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process standard request data such as IP addresses and user agents to serve and secure the site, as described in GitHub's privacy statement. We do not have an analytics dashboard and do not receive visitor-level reports.

6. Fonts

The site loads Inter and Space Grotesk from Google Fonts. That request shares your IP address and browser information with Google. If you prefer to avoid that, block the font request; the site falls back to system fonts and remains fully usable.

7. Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage. The form does not remember your answers after you leave the page.

8. Retention

Audit and collaboration emails stay in the FastPress Labs inbox while the conversation is active and for as long as needed to keep a record of the work. Ask us to delete your message and we will do so unless we are required to keep it for legal or security reasons.

9. Your choices

• Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Use the CLI without ever contacting us.
• Block Google Fonts or JavaScript; the site still works.

10. Children

LaunchGrade is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will change and the new version will be published on this page. Material changes will be noted in the repository.
